What is the Point of Rental International Conference?

Point of Rental’s International Conference is a three-day gathering where our users learn to better utilize their software through training courses taught by experienced Point of Rental trainers. Attendees select a track of courses they are interested in attending based on their individual needs. Most classes will be divided based on industry (Party/Events and Tool/Equipment) in order for everyone to receive the most relevant information. This is also an opportunity for open round table discussions to take place with rental industry peers.

 

How did the International Conference begin?

The International Conference began when the time allotted for our traditional Annual Users Meeting at the American Rental Association’s annual Rental Show was significantly reduced. We found that Point of Rental users wanted additional, yearly training over new ways to improve their businesses. This conference gives Point of Rental the ability to learn about our customers’ ever changing needs. We feel strongly that education should be a two-sided endeavor and because of that, the International Conference was born.

 

How do I choose courses to attend?

An email will be sent to all attendees with a link to select the courses and events they plan to attend.

 

Are evening events included in the conference cost?

Yes. All events and meals are included in the conference cost. Attendees will still need to select the events they plan on attending when the link to select classes is emailed. This will help us keep track of final numbers and cost.

 

How do I book my room at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel at Point of Rental’s discounted rate?

Omni Fort Worth Hotel has created a reservation page for Point of Rental conference attendees. You can book your room here. You may also call the hotel directly and reference Point of Rental.

 

How will I benefit from the conference?

Aside from learning new information during classes, you will have the opportunity to network with other owners, managers, and rental employees alike from stores across the world through roundtable discussions and night events. Also, our training, sales, executive, and marketing teams will be attending the conference and will be available to answer any questions you may have.

 

Can you remind me of the classes I’ve signed up for?

The classes you’ve signed up for will be printed on the back of your name badge that you will receive during registration on Monday morning.

How will I know where to go once I arrive at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel?

After you check in, there will be signs throughout the lobby and hotel guiding you to the conference. Classes will be located on the first and second floor.

 

Will breakfast be served in the morning?

Breakfast snacks will be served each morning outside of the ballroom where lunch and all General Sessions are held. The hotel also offers breakfast options at multiple locations throughout the hotel beginning at 6am. A full lunch will also be provided. Dinner is included if you choose to attend the evening events.

 

Will I have time to speak with the sponsors?

Yes. Sponsors will be available the entire conference with booths set up in the main ballroom. Some sponsors will also have personal training classes on their services that attendees will be able to sign up for ahead of time.

 

Will I be able to receive one-on-one time with Point of Rental Staff?

At the end of each day, there will be time set aside for round table discussions with Point of Rental staff. Staff will also be available after discussions to answer any additional questions you may have.
